The modern workplace, with its unique demands and pressures, can contribute significantly to mental health challenges. “Mind Ease” aims to be a refuge for adults navigating depression in their professional lives. By combining understanding of workplace stresses with tailored coping mechanisms, “Mind Ease” offers a dedicated solution for mental well-being within the context of work.

Target Audience:

Professionals aged 25-42 facing depression linked to their workplace. This demographic is in search of specialized resources, coping tools, and a supportive community that understands the nuances of juggling mental health with job responsibilities.

Project Overview:

“Mind Ease” is a focused mental health application designed for working adults. Recognizing the unique challenges of this audience, the app provides mood tracking, coping strategies, and resources specific to the workplace environment. The platform allows users to log mood fluctuations in relation to work events, access content tailored to workplace challenges, and engage with a community that shares similar experiences.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Design an app that resonates with working professionals, offering them specialized resources and tools.
  • Integrate mood tracking tools that correlate with work-related incidents, offering users insights into potential triggers and patterns.
  • Curate content—articles, seminars , meditative exercises, and more—specifically tailored to address workplace-related stress and depression.
  • Develop a community feature where users can connect, share stories, and offer mutual support.

Scope of Work:

  • Develop wireframes and mockups that appeal to the target age group, reflecting both professionalism and well-being.
  • Craft an intuitive user interface to ensure seamless navigation, mood tracking, curated content, and community engagement.
  • Design a data visualization module(graphs/charts) that connects mood patterns with work events, delivering actionable insights.
  • Run user testing with a select segment of the target audience, refining the app based on user feedback.

Can you recall a specific work-related incident that significantly affected your mood and mental state? How did you cope with it? A Federal Grant program opened which is a core component of business development, months prior and weeks upcoming I had sent several notices regarding applications which the team had made no attempt to process information or applications until the day of the program opening. It was completely avoidable however department director who had ability to delegate did not.

economic environment – fear of getting laid off regardless of how hard you work; working not as hard because of that but then fear of getting fired. Not being able to fix people’s personal problems for them. Having to work within a broken system. Unmanageable workload. Lack of compensation for extra time. Discrimination for being a woman and age, feeling unheard for ideas and strategies

Venn-GYM-Pass - App 2023 Design and build by Irit Blumenthal

Project Background:

Venn-Pass is a free gym membership belonging to Venn Global Network. It provides free access to neighborhood gyms in Venn Global network in over 32 cities worldwide. Upon signing up, the user can choose which gym they choose, if the gym is crowded, has a pool, or if they have friends and neighbors in the gym at present. After signing up to the gym they will receive the QR code and they can open the gym’s door, with ease.

Venn-GYM-Pass is a free feature unique, community-focused tool that make it easier for residents to stay healthy, choose the closest gym and connect with each other & the wider community—a top predictor of retention.

Research objectives:

The focus is that people will be able to go to any gym in their neighborhood, free of charge and use the existing network to enjoy all the amenities
